Hi Seunghyun, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
So Moon Bowl and Sushi was founded by culinary artists of over ten years from Korea, who have perfected the art of Healthy American Style Food that blends the best Recipes’ of Korea, Japan, and China together. It was the old town feeling and traditions that inspired So Moon Bowl and Sushi to establish their restaurant in Livonia, Michigan.
And we believe that if we provide more delicious food with more care, faster, and cheaper, many customers will like it, and we will continue to do our best in the future.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As soon as we opened the restaurant, COVID-19 hit and we had a hard time at first. Furthermore, the cost of food ingredients and labor costs went up, so there were many difficulties, but we worked hard and looked forward unconditionally, and as a result, we achieved the good results we have now, and fortunately, we have become a restaurant loved by many customers.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We have made good results with the first variety of rice bowls and menus with various healthy ingredients in Livonia, and many customers love the new sauces and food compositions. In addition, the prices are low, and we have been operating the restaurant for 5 years, and the prices of the food are still the same as when we first opened, and the restaurant’s belief is that it should be fast, delicious, cheap, and fresh. I, the owner, worked as a banker in Korea, and I also trained to learn various foods, and I am interested in sauces from various countries. These experiences are included in the operation of the restaurant and are being operated.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
There is nothing I particularly dislike. I love my neighborhood so much. That is why I moved here two years ago. I always love Livonia, which is always cozy and relaxed.
