Hi Felicia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My skincare journey started about 23 years ago with a big dream—to one day open my own space and create something truly special. What really pushed me in this direction was personal: my own struggles with acne and skin insecurities. I knew I wanted to help others feel confident in their skin, so I poured myself into learning everything I could about specialty skincare, especially acne resolution.

I started as a one-woman show (picture me juggling all the things!) but quickly grew thanks to word-of-mouth and real results. That growth led me to build a team, expand into a larger space, and start mentoring other amazing women in the industry. Now, I not only get to transform skin, but I also get to help others grow their careers and skills in specialized treatments.

From acne to eczema, anti-aging, discoloration, and even helping those experiencing extreme dryness from medications or health conditions—I’m here for it all. It’s not just about skin, it’s about restoring confidence and empowering people to feel their best.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth? Not exactly—but it’s definitely been an interesting and rewarding ride! There have been some incredible highs, but also plenty of challenges along the way. One of the biggest hurdles has been building the right team and learning how to grow in a way that stays true to the vision. As the business expanded, so did the need for continued education, consistency, and team dynamics—which is a whole journey in itself!

Moving into a larger space was another leap that came with its own set of growing pains (and lots of logistics!). And of course, we can’t talk about challenges without mentioning COVID. It rocked the industry—and honestly, the world. It took years to truly recover from the emotional, financial, and structural shifts it brought. But every challenge has made us stronger, more intentional, and even more passionate about what we do.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve touched on this a bit already, but to dive in deeper—I specialize in results-driven skincare, especially when it comes to medical skin issues like acne, eczema, discoloration, and compromised skin barriers. While many spas and med spas tend to chase the latest trends or offer a wide menu of general treatments, I’ve taken a different route.

What sets me apart is my commitment to staying in my lane and doing it exceptionally well. I focus on corrective skincare and long-term skin health, rather than just offering what’s currently trending. My clients come to me because they’re looking for real solutions, not just a quick fix or a pretty glow for the weekend.

I’m incredibly proud of the trust I’ve built in my community and the transformations I’ve been a part of—both in skin and in confidence. Helping someone feel good in their own skin again? That never gets old.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I believe success isn’t a one-size-fits-all concept—it looks different for everyone, and that’s what makes it so personal and powerful. For me, success begins the moment you set your mind to something and start taking intentional steps toward it. It’s not just about the end goal; it’s about the growth, the lessons, and the little wins you collect along the way.

Over the years, I’ve learned that success is less about a finish line and more about evolving, adapting, and continuously moving forward—even when the path is uncertain. Each chapter brings its own kind of success, sometimes in ways you never planned for. So, my motto? Stay open, stay driven, and enjoy the ride.
