Conversations with Jayy Perk

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jayy Perk.

Hi Jayy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started making music at the age of 7 or 8
I was always passionate about music , nothing else in the world made me happier than what music made me.

Once I turned 16/17 I started to actually try to figure out how I could turn it into a career and from then on I bout my own in home studio, dropped my own mix tapes, designed my own cover art and did everything myself , DIY

I started to get noticed, A&Rs started reaching out to me and I started getting a buzz , I then started to really grind and take thing serious , I traveled , did shows and now I’m in a place to where I’ve come so far but there is still so much to do

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
A lot of people didn’t believe in me at first or didn’t understand things, people could t see the vision how I had it in my head , and that’s normal but sad at the same time

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I sing , i use my music to vocalize how I feel about certain things that goes on in life , im proud of the progress ive made when it comes to the business side that nobody else sees , im different i know i am and thats what separates me from other people because im 100% me , unapologetically me, no matter what or who im around

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
