Founded in 2021 during the COVID pandemic, Resin Vibes by MB began as a humble hobby and has blossomed into a vibrant small business based in Kalamazoo, MI. We specialize in resin art, often featuring Lake Michigan sand in our signature wave designs—an iconic hallmark of our work that beautifully captures the essence of our surroundings.

In addition to our resin creations, we offer a unique service preserving flowers from special occasions, transforming them into timeless pieces that you can cherish forever. On February 14, 2024, we proudly open our studio, where we host exclusive resin classes and a variety of art classes for both kids and adults. Our mission is to craft beautiful art and create joyful experiences for everyone who walks through our doors.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like many creative paths, building a resin art business has come with its share of unexpected challenges. From managing supply issues and navigating the learning curve of new techniques, to balancing time between creating and running the business side of things—each step has been a lesson in growth and resilience.

There have been moments of frustration, of trial and error, and of wondering how to keep moving forward when things didn’t go as planned. But through it all, my passion for creating and sharing this art form has remained the heart of what I do.

I’m deeply grateful for the support and patience of those who’ve followed along, purchased my work, or simply offered words of encouragement. These obstacles, while difficult, have helped me refine my process, deepen my commitment, and stay connected to the joy that first brought me to resin art.

This journey isn’t perfect, but it’s real—and I’m so thankful to be on it with a community that understands and uplifts creativity.
