Hi Romero, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always had a passion for financial literacy. Growing up, I was fascinated by money—how it works, how people build wealth, and why some struggle financially while others thrive. I knew early on that I wanted to be an entrepreneur, and I always told myself I would find a way to make that happen.

I took a traditional path at first, earning my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. While in school, I started trading stocks, which opened my eyes to how powerful financial knowledge can be. But I also realized something else—most people don’t understand money, credit, investing, or even basic budgeting. That’s when the vision for Foxx Strategies was born.

I started by offering free financial coaching sessions just to build my confidence and see if people found value in what I had to say. The response was overwhelming. People kept coming back, telling me I made financial concepts easy to understand and actionable. From there, I built my business, focusing on helping people with credit, investing, estate planning, and debt strategies. I also incorporated my passion for trading, teaching people how to navigate the markets with smart money concepts.

At the same time, I was balancing a 9-5 job, trading, and creating content on social media. I saw that my audience resonated with my posts, especially when I asked thought-provoking questions about the economy and financial mindset. That motivated me to go even harder, refining my brand and expanding my reach.

Now, I’m working toward my CFP certification and building Foxx Strategies into a trusted financial coaching business. My goal is to empower people with financial literacy, helping them take control of their money and build wealth. I know firsthand how life-changing this knowledge can be, and I’m on a mission to make financial freedom a reality for as many people as possible.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the biggest struggles was wondering if I would get support and if what I was doing would truly provide value. To test the waters, I started offering free coaching sessions, and the response was incredible. Seeing how many people needed my help gave me the energy and motivation to keep going. It showed me that financial literacy isn’t just important—it’s life-changing. At the same time, balancing everything was a challenge. Working a 9-5, trading, coaching, and creating content was a lot to juggle. Building credibility and growing my brand in a competitive space also wasn’t easy. But through it all, I stayed focused, adapted, and kept pushing forward. Every obstacle just reinforced that I’m on the right path.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always an extrovert with a high energy and a positive attitude. I was known as the “cool guy” in school, and even won the “Best Personality” and “Coolest Person” awards in high school. My natural charisma made it easy to connect with people, and I loved being the center of attention in social situations. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a deep interest in business, economics, and helping people understand financial terms and economic news. This passion led me to want to teach others about finance in a way that makes it accessible and understandable. Even back then, I knew I wanted to make a difference by simplifying complex topics and helping people take control of their financial futures.
