Today we’d like to introduce you to Ainsley N. Harvey

Hi Ainsley N., we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My journey as an abstract visual artist started at the age of 6. I colored on coloring pages, coloring books and used tracing paper. By the time I got into middle school I was drawing different animated characters and various subjects. I went on to college and graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art-Painting.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There was a point post grad where I didn’t do any art for nearly a year. I was trying to figure things out for myself on the path that I wanted to take career wise. As I continued to make various pieces I worked various jobs throughout the years and I got back into exhibiting my work to different shows a few years ago.
Which was almost 10 years after I graduated from college.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a colorful abstract visual artist who specializes in various landscapes and abstract forms. The theme is to illustrate our connection to nature as humans through different life experiences and spirit. When the viewer sees my work they will create their own interpretation of what they see.
