Hi Rachel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I knew from the age of 16 that interior design was my calling, and every step of my journey has shaped the drive and creativity behind Concetti. Performing in dance and color guard as I grew up taught me discipline and perseverance that helped propel my dreams into reality. Studying abroad in Italy introduced me to conceptual design, which inspired the name Concetti, meaning ‘concepts’ in Italian. I have always trusted my gut, and from the moment I envisioned Concetti, I knew it would become a reality. With relentless commitment to that vision, I have built an award-winning team that brings bold, intentional design to life – for homeowners and small businesses.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Life is always going to be dynamic. The lows make the highs even sweeter, and while the journey isn’t always smooth, I’ve learned to fall in love with it. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow, and I’ve come to appreciate the lessons that come with each one. Perseverance is everything. Even when you’re outside your comfort zone, just keep putting one foot in front of the other. The path won’t be linear, and chasing your dreams will test you, but don’t lose sight of them—keep going.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What I love most about design is that it allows me to be a mirror for my clients, reflecting who they are back into their spaces. Genuine human connection is at the heart of that process. Getting to know people, understanding their stories, and translating that into a space that feels truly, authentically them is what drives me. Design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about creating a sense of belonging, identity, and self-expression.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Some of my favorite childhood memories are all about creativity with my family. I’d make art for my grandparents, and the next time I visited, I’d see it framed and proudly displayed. That kind of encouragement meant everything and fueled my passion for art and design. Before my grandfather passed, one of our last conversations was him telling me to always be an artist, and without hesitation, I said, “Of course.” Now, with Concetti, I get to live and breathe art and design every single day.
