Today we’d like to introduce you to Sanya Pittman

Hi Sanya, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Well, since I’ve been about 12 years old, I knew that i wanted to be an entrepreneur. I just didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do. I went from selling lashes and purses, to becoming a nail tech, to trying to become a lash tech and then makeup I believe. I started out doing my own hair at 14/15 because I didn’t really have the money to get my hair done every week or 2 weeks but I NEEDED my hair done and it went from there. Nothing really stuck besides doing hair but I lost passion for it a while back. In about April 2024 I started to practice certain styles and charge about $50 to try and boost clientele. When things started to go well, I quit my job and focused 100% on my business. I trusted God and never looked back really.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. I trust God wholeheartedly so the downsides aren’t as bad as they seem. Sometimes I’ll go a week or 2 with maybe 3 clients total and sometimes I’ll overbook myself and be too tired to work for the week. I’m still finding a balance but I love what I do so it’s worth it.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I was very bubbly and extroverted. I’ve always loved being around people and interacting with people. I was always the social butterfly and I loveeedd music! I was always singing and making up dance routines with neighbors and cousins.
