Daily Inspiration: Meet Tiny Valkyrie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiny Valkyrie

Hi Tiny, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m Tiny, but my personality and tenacity make up for it! I’m a full-time variety Vtuber on Twitch, a single mom to two amazing tiny humans, a community manager for Coheed & Cambria, and a homeschooling teacher. My goal is to build connections through community, gaming, and charity events, making a tiny difference along the way. We raise money for charity at least twice a year, and with the help of my community, we’ve raised over $7,000!

I’m self-taught, reliable, and a quick learner. Four years ago, I didn’t even know what Vtubing was—now, I’ve been nominated for multiple awards and have done several cosplays, including Tifa Lockhart, Jill Valentine, Sailor Pluto, Pokémon Trainers, and Wednesday Addams, among others. I change themes and alerts every month, host monthly events, and have seasonal redeems! I’d love for you to stop by the stream, whether to use a channel point redemption to interact with the avatar, lurk, or simply say hi. You’re always welcome home, just as you are!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has been incredibly challenging, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. The hardest part of it all, like many aspects of life, is balance—managing teaching, community management, and streaming while being a single mom has been difficult. It requires effective time management, discipline, and a willingness to work hard. I’ve struggled to find a place that feels like home, so ultimately my goal is to help others with their struggles, even if just a little bit, by creating a space where anyone can feel welcome.

Another challenge I’ve faced is the reality of being a virtual streamer. Unlike most streamers, I don’t use a face cam—I stream with a 3D avatar that has real-time facial tracking. Some people prefer face cams or may never have seen a Vtuber before. One of my favorite moments is when chatters who’ve never seen a Vtuber before decide to stick around because of my personality, community, or interactivity. My goal is for people to come together for the sake of community, connection, and humanity—based on their interactions with each other and with me, nothing more or less.

The biggest physical challenge I’ve overcome is streaming with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a chronic nerve disorder that causes extreme facial pain. Sometimes, I have to adjust my model, mute my mic, or even cancel a stream altogether. I’ve built my streaming schedule around times when it’s (usually) physically easier and doesn’t conflict with my parenting or teaching responsibilities. I’ve also modified my glasses, headsets, and other peripherals to find the best comfort while streaming. Ultimately, I’d love to collaborate with others to raise awareness, funds, and support the development of peripherals for those suffering from chronic pain or similar conditions.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My passion and expertise have always been in community, art, and project management. I love streaming and working with others to form genuine connections that leave a lasting impression, build trust, and create a sense of community for everyone involved. What sets me apart is my transparency, magnetic personality, and understanding of how to get people engaged. I genuinely love what I do, and I thrive on connecting with others and having meaningful conversations that can brighten both our days. I host themed events, mini games, monthly updates, and holiday specials, and I know how to organize chaos while consulting the community to create one-of-a-kind events.

In addition, I built and now manage the Discord for the progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria. The COTF (Children of the Fence) community is amazing and deserves a fan-made, band-supported space. The Discord enables fans to receive instant updates, get community support, and access exclusive events hosted by the band. We organize monthly events, mini-games, and chats where fans can come together to share their love of the music and comics.

I’m passionate about project management, charity events, Discord consulting, and live content creation on Twitch. However, I’m also open to opportunities in production, broadcasting, and other areas, so don’t hesitate to reach out or stop by my stream!
