Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Schmidt

Hi Brianna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
From the time I could perceive color, I have loved colorful jewelry. Watching the light fill a person’s face when they lay eyes on a piece they love, absolutely makes my day!

I started as a lot of little kids did, with those little jewelry kits from Walmart, stringing together colors that I liked. As I got older, my supplies, combinations and designs flourished and matured. In 2010, I opened Breezy Does It as a way to express myself, to share my love of color and design with others. Throughout the following years, I would open and close as life allowed.

In November of 2024, I opened again, not thinking anything major would come out of it. However, the overwhelming response I got was so surprising!! Orders continued coming in and I was just so taken aback by the amount of support I was receiving from my friends and family regarding my dream!!! It was just an incredible feeling!! Thanks to my husband’s encouragement, I was able to stop putting my dream on hold and just go for it!!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Oh gosh, it’s not been a smooth road by any means. As we all know, life happens. There are ebbs and flows throughout the course of our journeys, and all we can do is just continue rolling with it.

A lot of my struggles revolve around typical life things, moving, financial hardship, chronic health and mental illnesses I have, etc. Now I try my hardest to just vibe, if I can do a ton one day and not much another, then so be it. I don’t try to force my creativity to spark on bad health days anymore. I’ve found that I have to sit and just feel my feelings and keep reminding myself how much of a warrior I am.

Besides my health, now my struggles include just getting my business’ name out there to put a smile on as many people’s faces as possible! I want people to look at my designs and just feel that warm hug, the love that I put into every piece I have made.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I specialize in making fashion jewelry, which has always been a passion of mine.

What sets me apart from others is the amount of meticulous thought that goes into every piece of jewelry that I produce. I know a lot of people think it is just adding beads and such to findings, but it is a lot more work than that. The findings, the colors, the design, it all must be just so

I am most proud of the “glow up” that my business has gone through. I started as it was just being a hobby, dreaming of doing something bigger with it all. Now, I get to chase my dream and give people the love we all deserve through my pieces.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
On Friday nights, my family would order pizza and hang out in my mom’s bed, reading books and just spending time together.

As a mom myself now, I encourage my kids’ love for reading so much. I go as far as to tell my kids that books are friends and will take us to wondrous worlds and on amazing adventures.
