Today we’d like to introduce you to Rita Saad
Hi Rita, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey into content creation started thanks to a nurse coworker who introduced me to the world of user-generated content (UGC). She told me that I didn’t need to be an influencer or have a huge following to get started, which opened my eyes to this exciting opportunity. One day, I decided to start recording myself, and from there, I began building the amazing community I have today, one that’s full of like-minded creators all striving to succeed in the UGC space. The heart of UGC is about being genuine, showing your personality, and adding your unique touch to every piece of content. It’s about connection and engagement, not numbers, and I’ve embraced that wholeheartedly. If it weren’t for my coworker, I might never have discovered this passion that has become such an important part of my life over the past year. Currently, I’m a nurse and a student in nurse practitioner school, and creating content has become a stress-free outlet for me. After a busy day, content creation feels like a safe, creative space where I can unwind and be myself. It’s brought me so much happiness, and I’ve even had the opportunity to work with a variety of brands, both big and small, turning this passion into a second source of income. This journey has been incredibly fulfilling, and I’m excited to see where it takes me in the future!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. like any journey, there have been challenges along the way. Balancing my career as a nurse, being in nurse practitioner school, and creating content has been one of the biggest struggles. Finding the time and energy to stay consistent while juggling a demanding schedule can feel overwhelming at times. There were moments of doubt, especially at the beginning, when I didn’t know if I could succeed without a huge following. It’s easy to compare yourself to others in this space and question whether your content is good enough or if anyone will connect with it. Staying true to my vision and reminding myself why I started has helped me push through those doubts.
Another challenge was learning the ins and outs of UGC—understanding how to pitch to brands, negotiate contracts, and deliver high-quality work. It’s a steep learning curve, especially when you’re building everything from scratch, but I’ve grown so much through trial and error.
Despite these struggles, every obstacle has taught me something valuable. The support from my community and seeing how far I’ve come make all the hard work worth it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a content creator specializing in beauty, skincare, wellness, fashion, and home-related content. While I collaborate with brands across various industries, my personal social media platforms focus heavily on fashion, beauty, wellness, and skincare—areas I’m truly passionate about. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with brands and audiences without relying on a huge following. I focus on authenticity, creating content that feels relatable and engaging while still delivering high-quality results. My work is about showcasing personality and putting my unique spin on everything I do, which resonates with both brands and viewers. What I’m most proud of is sticking with this career path despite the challenges and self-doubt. It’s something that genuinely makes me happy and has opened doors I never imagined were possible for someone with a small following. Every collaboration feels like a surprise and a blessing, reminding me that success isn’t just about numbers—it’s about passion, hard work, and staying true to yourself.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The quality I feel is most important to my success is authenticity. In a space where it’s easy to get caught up in trends or comparisons, staying true to myself has been my greatest asset. Brands and audiences connect with realness, and I make it a point to let my personality shine through in every piece of content I create. Consistency is another key factor. Balancing content creation with my responsibilities as a nurse and student isn’t always easy, but staying committed has allowed me to build trust and reliability with brands and my community. Lastly, adaptability has played a huge role. Whether it’s learning new skills, adjusting to brand needs, or experimenting with different types of content, being open to change and growth has been essential in carving out my unique path in this industry
