Hi Twisted Heel Productions, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Twisted Heel Productions started in 2022. It all began with an idea to one day change the face of Reality TV and film. Two sisters from Detroit, MI shared the same vision to help their communities and bring light to the forgotten. When the world was placed on pause for Covid-19, it allowed their creativity to take flight in hopes of one day manifesting. With one idea and much faith in God, a dream became the reality.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Of course when you inspire to be great, there will always be challenges and struggles along the way. We have seen many ups and downs in trying to cast the best talent for some of our projects. There are so many conversations that have to take place between our team, talent managers and attorneys before filming. Funding has been another obstacle that we have experienced, which can take years to obtain depending on the project.

We’ve been impressed with Twisted Heel Productions, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Twisted Heel Productions started in 2022. It all began with an idea to one day change the face of reality TV and film. We are sisters from Detroit, MI that share the same vision to help our communities and bring light to the forgotten. When the world was placed on pause for Covid-19, it allowed our creativity to take flight in hopes of one day manifesting. With one idea and much faith in Jesus Christ, a dream became the reality. We currently create reality TV shows and films that seek to inspire. Our focus is to captivate an audience who enjoys a dose of reality with a twist of fantasy. We strive to appeal to every audience with a wide selection of diversity in our work.

The most exciting part of creating television shows stems from the people who make it all come to life. We have a talented team of people who are like-minded and eager for simply good tv just like us. The idea in mind turns into a production experience which then leads to an awesome opportunity to be creative together. Great minds really do think alike.

God has orchestrated Twisted Heel to be able to impact our community by coaching and mentoring multiple Graphic Design interns from local colleges. So far, eight interns have graduated through Twisted Heel’s internship program and are still connected today!

Twisted Heel currently has two reality shows that are in preproduction, The Real Touchdown Detroit and My Passport Bride.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
We have learned that through the Covid-19 Crisis we were able to build this company even when life was throwing everyone into uncharted waters. Tough times don’t last, tough people do!
