Today we’d like to introduce you to Pedro Rodriguez
Hi Pedro, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started music when I was about 4 years old with the piano and then from there went to singing and dancing. When I was about 14 I got very interested in music engineering. Started building my studio and practicing until I got enough money saved up to attend online schooling. I now have 5 certifications.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Biggest struggles I faced were making sure the room I was mixing in was proper and getting consistent in my mixing. Breaks were needed in session due to ear fatigue but i definitely learned from all those mistakes I use to make.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a music engineer. I make music sound good that’s basically the job in general terms. I do almost all styles of music with vocal production involved but mainly rap/pop/rnb music. I’m most proud of the dedication I forced myself to keep in order to get all my certifications. Believe me I wanted to quit a few times. I think what sets me apart from other is I genuinely only care about good sounding music and not money.
What does success mean to you?
I think success is achieving what you believe you can do and are happy with the outcome.
