Today we’d like to introduce you to Dwayne Byrd

Hi Dwayne, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was actively involved in sports throughout high school, competing in track, football, and wrestling during my junior year. Unfortunately, I sustained a severe ankle injury, tearing three ligaments during football season, which sidelined me for the remainder of the year. During that time, I purchased a camera and began photographing the games. It was then that I discovered my talent for photography, and I’ve pursued it ever since.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has certainly come with its challenges; as with anything in life, there are inevitable highs and lows. However, it’s essential to stay focused and keep moving forward. In time, I will share the experiences that have shaped me into who I am today, with the hope of inspiring and encouraging others to overcome their own tribulations.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a film photographer and VHS videographer, with a specialization in lifestyle photography and videography. My reputation is built on capturing influencers and celebrities in candid, unguarded moments. I take great pride in my consistency and my ability to consistently deliver outstanding work month after month. What distinguishes me from others in this field is my unwavering confidence and the belief that my work stands above the competition.

What does success mean to you?
To me, success is defined by consistency, pursuing what brings me happiness, and being able to provide for my family and significant other. By these measures, I consider myself successful.
