Meet Scott Atkinson of Concept Realty Inc

Today we’d like to introduce you to Scott Atkinson

Hi Scott, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I began my real estate career at a boutique brokerage in Corktown, Detroit. Here, I quickly learned the ropes of residential and commercial real estate practices. Years later, I was recruited and appointed vice president of a real estate and mortgage company, learning everything I could about the mortgage side of transactions. Finally, 5 years ago, I opened a brokerage of my own, Concept Realty Inc.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Fortunately, this has been a smooth journey, but with all journeys, there have been bumps in the road! Some struggles include: personality conflicts, opposing business ideals, and the most important, how to become the best amongst your competitors.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Concept Realty Inc?
At Concept Realty, we’ve created a hybrid business model of a traditional real estate brokerage combined with that of a concierge service. We don’t stop working for our clients when the deal is made, we are there every step of the way. Whether that involves the complicated tasks of relocation, renovation, contractor coordination etc, we absorb as much of the stress as possible when making a move.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Past and current clients are definitely the MVP’s to our success. Referrals to friends, family and neighbors is what helps us continue to do the work we love and grow as a company.
