Check Out Jovan Kassab’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jovan Kassab

Hi Jovan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Jovan Jane (Jane is my middle name in 2008 while I was a freelance journalist and style contributor on Fox 2 News Detroit.
What was supposed to be a fun side hustle grew quickly! While most of the brand is geared towards Detroit sports, I have designed pieces for Green Bay, Buffalo, UCLA, USD, Ohio State, etc. My pieces have been worn by celebrities including athletes and actors and have been featured in national publications and news outlets as People, InStyle, E! News, etc.
The most rewarding part of what I do is seeing my designs come to life. In 2023, my dream of being in the DTW Airport came true. You can find a selection of Jovan Jane pieces in the Hudson News owned store called DETROIT! in the McNamara Terminal near Gate A29 I am grateful for every customer and retail shop that has supported Jovan Jane. I owe all my success to God.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I manage Bianchi’s Salon in Birmingham, Michigan and offer Lash Lifts + tints so balancing it all requires me to manage my time in the most efficient way. I am the only one behind Jovan Jane so it can definitely get overwhelming especially during football season.
My number one Jovan Jane goal is to get licensed with the NFL.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
