Today we’d like to introduce you to Jill Marie Mlynczyk

Hi Jill Marie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I see beauty in everything. I have a back ground in the arts and from there I became a makeup artist for over 20 years. I’ve started my career in Michigan and perused the last 15 years in San Francisco, Ca. My work can be seen in publications from editorial, print and comerical.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Many challenges I’ve experienced is networking when moving across country multiple times.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I would like to say I’ve accomplished quiet a bit in the “makeup world.”
From publications in fashion magazines, working with brands such as GAP, Banana Republic, Levi’s, Macy’s, Old Navy, Timbuk2, New Balance, Instacart, Uber, Lyft, and more. I would like to say my portfolio is very diverse from clients, models, and creativity.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Advice for creatives perusing their dreams. Work hard, set goals and boundaries, and most important BE KIND.
