Hi Nay, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Salute My Pretty was born in a time when few dared to start their own brand or business. Entrepreneurship was a calling that I couldn’t ignore. I created this brand for women like myself who were tired of being on the fence, women who tired of simply being lukewarm with Christ and the worldly life, cause honestly this world no longer excites me, and I found it very hard to relate to what other women were doing and going. Thats when I used my voice and seen that I wasn’t alone, I wasn’t the only one feeling this way. There were hundreds of other women out here just like myself on this journey trying to leave the world behind.
I established Salute my Pretty to represent all of us – women who wants to walk with Christ, build faith and confidents and who wants to express our faith and beliefs through beauty and fashion.
SMP Collection features both Chill-wear and Church-wear because we believe that church girls can be stylish, confident, modest and flattering. And YES, Church girls can be flattering too! We also have our Cosmetic collection because a little enhancement to our beauty declares the love for ourselves.
Salute My Pretty is more than just a brand; it’s a community for women who are ready to transition from a worldly life to Godly life. To fully surrender to Gods law. A community where you can pour into others as well get poured into. Salute My Pretty are for those who are ready to change old ways, leave old habits behind, and to embrace a proverbs 31 spirit. We are here to support, uplift and inspire other on this journey. I want us to encourage one another because I want to see heaven crowded with us.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The path has never been smooth, but I do know that God promised to straighten my crooked places and smooth out the rough patches, but that didn’t mean it was easy. I launched Salute My Pretty during the pandemic, and it took off fast. Even though I became very successful, my success came with a price: stress and overwhelm.
So I stepped back, and took a long break – not because I was weak, but because I needed restoration. You know how they say, “Out of sight, out of mind.” Well, that’s precisely what happened. When I returned, things moved at a slower pace. I found myself working harder than ever, trying to please the world.
But here’s the twist: “world” and “word” differ by just one letter – an “L.” And every time I chased worldly approval, I took loss after loss. At my lowest, I had no one left to turn to except God. He allowed me to reach that point so I’d realize I needed Him above all else.
So, I surrendered – my life, my family, my business. No matter how many setbacks I faced, I got back up again. At this point I felt undefeated, fueled by a power beyond myself. Life’s not lukewarm anymore; it’s ablaze with purpose.

We specialize in cosmetics. We believe there’s nothing wrong with makeup—it’s a way to enhance our natural beauty and express self-love.
We’re also passionate about bringing people together by hosting events that foster connection, sharing stories, and building relationships. We try to focus on creating authentic and genuine approaches in a way that we can relate to our consumers.

SMP proudest moment I would say; Helping women recognize their inner strength is our proudest achievement. Hearing that our videos have transformed lives or perspectives is incredibly fulfilling.
Another proud moment is when I Host events where women pour into each other’s cups—building relationships and growing spiritually.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
First, I’ve realized the importance of asking questions and seeking advice. Closed mouths don’t get fed. Second, knowing when to pivot is crucial. Sometimes, our initial plans don’t take off as expected, and that’s okay. Being adaptable and willing to explore new paths has been a game-changer for me.
