Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabriella Hammond

Hi Gabriella, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been doing makeup professionally for nine years, starting as a retail artist and expanding into bridal and then over time working my way into the commercial and editorial spaces. It took years of dedication, trial and error, and making connections with amazing people in the industry to get where I am today, and there are still many goals I hope to accomplish in the future.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s taken many years to build the career that I have, and I’m still learning every day how to be a better artist. Ive gone through a lot of trial and error over the years in discovering who I am as an artist. It took many years to break into some of the spaces I am able to work in now, such as commercial and editorial work, magazine features, fashion shows, etc. I learned to not turn down any form of work, so I could learn and grow as an artist. Every job isn’t fun, but I always learned something from it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a professional makeup artist, I do luxury event and bridal makeup, as well as commercial and editorial makeup. I would like to think I’m known for my versatility and ability to cater to all ages, skin tones, and skin types. I am most proud of my work being featured on PhotoVogue website and in Vanguard magazine.
