Meet Nolan Weiss of Ann Arbor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nolan Weiss

Hi Nolan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My partner Doron Pakravan and I were students at the University of Michigan with a passion for sports, fitness, recovery and entrepreneurship. As two college students who exercise often, when we were searching for recovery products, we discovered there was no affordable, trusted, high-quality brand. We decided to commit to making premier recovery accessible to the masses. After many prototypes and trials we finally engineered the cutting edge technology you see on our store today. We take pride in delivering exceptional products that won’t break your bank. We offer massage guns, leg compression sleeves, electric massage rollers, and at-home cupping devices. As a new brand in a saturated space, we needed to build our credibility and decided to take the approach of athlete partnerships. They were the ones pushing their body’s to the limit so if they could trust our products anyone can. Being at the University of Michigan we are surrounded by the top collegiate athletes in our classes and on campus so started there and with this exposure more and more came pouring in. Our brand aligns perfectly with college athletes as they need these products and may not have access to them outside of the facility if their facility even has them. After building our foundations and establishing ourselves we continue to hustle and work hard to get our brand and products into the hands of as many people as possible. We supply physical therapy and wellness centers, gyms, and sports teams as well as direct to consumers across the US through our website. We also attend various events including fitness competitions, races, festivals, and tournaments adding a recovery space for participants. We want to build a community around our brand. We strive to unleash our clients’ highest potential. Our mission is to positively impact everyone we reach: promoting healthy and disciplined lifestyles. We strongly believe that taking care of your physical goes hand in hand with improving your mental. That’s why we stress the importance of recovery to facilitate the process of unlocking the best version of yourself. Through our products, motivation, tips, and demonstrations we hope to enable our audience to reach their peak.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been some struggles. To start for both of us this is our first time starting a business. This made building the foundation and back-end interworkings take a lot more time and required a lot more education to learn the ins and outs. Another struggle was balance with being students at the University of Michigan taking classes, living the college experience, and starting a business. Also taking an unprecedented route for career choice as Michigan is very competitive and everyone around us is recruiting for the top jobs in their respective fields and we are undertaking a startup business venture with no corporate structure or security around it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
