Meet Destiny Clements of True Royalty Salon Suites

Today we’d like to introduce you to Destiny Clements. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Destiny Clements is a 24 year old serial entrepreneur born and raised in Flint, MI. Destined for greatness, Destiny took on her mother’s hair company at just 15 years old (True Royalty Extensions). She worked really hard to build her brand and to make a name for herself in her community. She did just that! At age 20, Destiny opened up her very first storefront. By the age of 22 years old, Destiny had opened her second salon location in Flint, MI and expanded her online hair extension and small boutique business. She has also published several e-books to guide other entrepreneurs with jumpstarting their small business.

Destiny is now excited to shift her focus in real estate sales. She carries the values of tenacity, integrity, leadership, and satisfactory high-level customer service.

Being raised in a family of Top Producing Realtors became the catalyst for Destiny’s passion in Real Estate. She grew up watching her aunts rehab and sale homes and enjoyed learning about the process. Innately, Destiny finds joy in helping people, and she loves real estate; it’s in her DNA! It was destined for her to pursue her passion in Real Estate.

In her leisure time, Destiny enjoys spending time with her family, business coaching, and mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Entrepreneurship is challenging and can be hard at times. I’ve experienced many bumps in the road, but when you have a real passion for what you do, you can overcome anything. 

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Spending the weekends at my granny house with all of my cousins
