Today we’d like to introduce you to Lake Effect Chiropractic.

Hello Lake Effect Chiropractic, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. 
We moved back to Bay City Michigan in 2019 and bought a small practice that was in a small house. The practice grew from a 2 doctor 3 room practice in a house to The Full Lake Effect. In 2023 now Lake Effect Chiropractic have 3 Doctors, 2 massage therapists, 2 trainers, office staff, 6 treatment rooms, and gym/rehab space totaling 2500 square feet. We are thriving with 50+ new patients a month and we own the real estate with a leasing tenant and the hope to expand more this spring. 

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
6 months after owning the practice Covid hit. Even though it was a hard time, it gave us the opportunity to restructure the practice, which has allowed us the growth. The original space was limiting after one year, so we began searching for a better office space. Once we found the perfect location and space, then we had to begin building our team, finding the right fit for each position that live our core values. 

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are Lake Effect Chiropractic. We specialize. in helping active adults and older adults get out of pain and stay active so they can keep doing what they love. There is nothing worse than getting an injury that makes you have to slow down or stop doing what you love such as playing pickleball, running, crossfitting, or even being able to get on the ground with your grandkids. People with injuries get told to just rest and just wait for the pain to go away; we love being able to help injured individuals modify around injury while keeping them able to stay active in the gym or just in their lives. We offer chiropractic care, massage therapy, class IV laser, active release technique, graston, our absolute favorite is functional fitness, and have recently added dry needling. The quote we hear when people walk into our office often is “Wow, this place is different than ever other chiropractic office I have been in”. And that is exactly what we hope. To be able to give people their life back not just get them out of pain. We love being hope dealers and showing people what they are capable of. 

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
All three doctors at Lake Effect Chiropractic have always had a passion for the gym and exercise. Through chiropractic care and being multi-sport athletes during our youth and school ages, all three doctors avoided any serious injuries. This has molded what Lake Effect is all about. “Movement is Medicine.”
