Mi’chelle Davis

Hi Mi’chelle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Hi, my name is Miss Mi’chelle Davis

And here is my story at the age of 15 years old, I had my 1st son, and that’s when my life changed forever. I no longer had a childhood, I had to immediately become a teen mom. My mindset changed instantly, and from that year he was born (2001) I was always in beast mode, meaning I had to be strong for the sake of my son. I was enrolled as a 10th grader at Cooley High School in Detroit at the time. And for my junior and senior I made the decision to attend an alternative school which made it easier for myself and everyone else, so I didn’t have to depend on nobody to babysit my child. I was able to take him to school with me, which was very helpful. I then got a job at Northland Mall in (2004) as a manager at foxmoor clothing store, which is when I became interested in fashion. I worked for 4 years, got pregnant with my second son had him in (2007)and did a whole 360 by transitioning over to healthcare. I knew I wanted more out of life, so I started by taking up a trade as a certified nursing assistant, went to school for nursing, changed my major due to all the rules that were given back in (2008) however, I graduated in (2013) from Henry ford college with a criminal justice degree. I never could get a job from my experience with the degree, so I was still working in healthcare. 2020 Covid changed the world. I followed my passion and open up an online blouse boutique Blouseology_Collection and I’m now in the process of launching a nonprofit (She_Leveled_up ) the purpose is to assist young women with resources to prevent teen pregnancy and domestic violence. I feel like I was chosen to be a motivator speaker to young women from the experiences I went through in my childhood and my maybe my story can touch someone else to stay motivated as I did and keep going and to let nothing stop you.

Stay Fierce ❤️‍🔥

Stay Strong 💪

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road, but I will say this god will not put nothing on you that you can’t handle, and babbbyyy life has been lifein I’ve had many ups and downs to where I wanted to give up, but I had to keep going. And stay strong for my young men

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I wish I started my dream job when I was younger and maybe I’ll be so much further in life than I am now but god had other plans and that’s ok. Because I have so much time left to continue starting my legacy and it start with believing in you. I had to learn when the time is right no one can take it away from you

What do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy is knowing I have what it takes to survive in this world. And knowing I have accomplished a lot on this rodeo, and I know I’m not finished, I have so much more time left to do more, and I’m very excited
