Hidden Gems: Meet Jai Reddy of LifeLab Kids Foundation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jai Reddy.

Jai Reddy

Jai, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
After experiencing disjointed care for my son with autism, I began designing LifeLab Kids. I envisioned an organization that would bring all the different therapeutic programs for children with developmental disabilities under one roof. It was my belief that new programs, like technology, music, and art therapy, could unlock even more opportunities for these uniquely talented children. In February 2019, LifeLab Kids opened its first location to provide a place where all children with developmental disabilities can grow.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We launched LifeLab Kids only a few months before the pandemic hit, which resulted in a lot of additional work.

Collaboration and achieving our desired outcomes required a multifaceted approach, and we consistently required additional assistance to achieve them.

As a result, this put an unexpected financial strain on our budget. To ensure our financial stability, we recognized that we needed additional assistance in the fundraising department.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about LifeLab Kids Foundation?

Our services range from behavioral and mental health therapies to art, music, and technology enrichment programs. Our goal is to offer comprehensive developmental support tailored to each child’s specific needs. We blend our traditional therapies with our artistic and expressive therapies to create joyful ways for our children to experience learning new skills and making new friends.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
