Today we’d like to introduce you to Leslie Summerville.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started? 
My journey started with a strong influence from my mom, who worked tirelessly in the as a postal worker. Seeing her dedication, I gained a deep appreciation for being my own boss. I realized I wanted to forge my own path. So, I began researching learning about business and eventually decided to start my own clothing line. I worked relentlessly, pouring my passion into each collection through dedication and determination; I’ve built a successful clothing brand, one that’s a testament to my desire to work for myself and make my mark in the fashion world. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey has been far from smooth. I’ve encountered my fair share of struggles, including starting multiple businesses that ultimately didn’t succeed. It’s not easy to navigate the entrepreneurial path, and one of the key lessons I’ve learned is that you have to truly love what you do to persevere through the challenges. The setbacks taught me valuable lessons and resilience, driving me to continue pursuing my passion and ultimately finding success in my clothing line. 

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Summerville?
Summerville was made for women on the go, whether it’s taking kids to school, doctors’ appointment, working out, grabbing lunch, going to work, you can throw on a set and feel beautiful! No matter what occasion you’ll be able to dress Summerville up or down. I know how hard and overwhelming with daily life can get especially with kids feeling comfortable and stylish is record time is always the goal! 

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Of course! The fashion industry changes overnight. One minute, you’re wearing skinny jeans next, its flare bottoms, but 

The rise of athleisure will persist; Activewear will transition beyond the gym and into everyday fashion, offering stylish and versatile options that can be worn from workouts to casual. 

The activewear industry will continue to expand its size range and offer designs that cater to various body types and fitness levels, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and confident in their activewear. 

Honestly, there may be a reevaluation of fast fashion, Consumers might shift their preferences towards timeless, quality pieces, which could encourage brands to step it up! 

For me the key is to always stay consistent and authentic!
