Check Out Adam Brewer’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Brewer.

Adam Brewer

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve been a Michigan football fan ever since I was a little boy. I feel in love with their Helmets, and I still believe their home uniforms are the best in college football. So, I’ve been sharing my love and frustration with Michigan football from the time I was young, and finally, my brother told me about 6 years ago. “You know, Adam instead of posting all this Michigan stuff on your Facebook to people who don’t care, you should start a podcast” So I looked up how to start a podcast, and the rest as they say, is history

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Well-being an independent podcaster, and I don’t have a relationship with the team or have a big company like Sports Illustrated or USA Today helping me financially, so I can just solely focus on the podcast. It’s hard covering a college football. Also, living in a different state provides its own challenges. Still with all that going against me, I still was building a pretty good fan base, using social media to build the following. Then Covid hit, and the everything kinda stopped. The momentum I was building the previous 2 years was halted. I basically had to rebuild. I’m finally back and starting to exceed what I had pre-covid

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Besides being a host of the Michigan Football Rant, I’m a Crew Chief for American Airlines for the past 10 years. I’m basically the guy who is in charge of the guys who load and unload the bags on the plane. I’m also in charge of the weight and balance of the plane

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I’m a father of one young man who is 22 years old and is a Crew Chief on the Sea Stallion helicopter in the Navy. He is the only thing that kept me moving and being productive when I went through my divorce with his mom
