Daily Inspiration: Meet Jared Witt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jared Witt.

Jared, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m Jared Witt from Louisville, Kentucky. I started photography as a young teenager. Did it till about 2014-2016, took a small break, and in 2022 got back into doing portraits and urbex. Haven’t looked back yet. I’ve since explored in 7-8 states now and have found my favorite hobby 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not even a little bit. It’s been a massive struggle, but I keep moving on 

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I do photography. Mainly urbex (abandoned spots) and portraiture. I’m known for my urbex photography 

What were you like growing up?
I was Shy. A little bit awkward and just quiet. I was mainly a loner and by myself a lot. My interests have been video games and TV shows, movies, anime. I also loved being outside and nature. Music has also been my life as well
