Meet Jordyn Wilson of JoJo’s Cookie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordyn Wilson. They and their team shared their story with us below:

It all started in the crazy year of 2020. With an abundance of time on her hands, quarantine led Jordyn to take her passion for baking to a whole new level when she set out to create the perfect cookie. She enjoyed dedicating long hours of research and a lot of time testing batch after batch to try different recipes and ingredient combinations. Finally, Jordyn produced JoJo’s first and finest: the chocolate chip cookie. 

Not long after their wedding, Colin talked Jordyn into taking the leap into business ownership and together they started JoJo’s Cookie Co. Jordyn resigned from her job in the insurance industry so she could fully dedicate herself to their new company, and since then, it has grown tremendously. 

They turned their front porch into a cookie order pickup area & did as many markets & popups as possible in the area. They soon grew out of their home kitchen and decided to open a storefront in the place they always dreamed of moving Northern Michigan. 

From JoJo’s humble beginnings in the kitchen of Colin and Jordyn’s first home in Saginaw, MI to their first storefront in Petoskey, MI (& soon to be second location in Downtown Traverse City), their goal remains to create “Smiles from Scratch” one cookie at a time! 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Every single day there is a new challenge or obstacle. We have never done this before, so we take one day at a time & are constantly learning & growing ourselves with the business.

JoJo’s Cookie Co. is a gourmet cookie shop that offers 16 different flavors each day. We offer 10 signature flavors that stay on the menu all year & 6 Specialty flavors that rotate each month. We specialize in everything from the Classic Chocolate Chip cookie to stuffed & loaded cookie flavors of all different kinds! Each batch is made from scratch with the highest quality ingredients, each dough ball is hand-crafted with love, & our cookies are baked fresh daily. 

We ship our cookies nationwide – perfect for birthday/holiday gifts or to treat yourself! We also handle corporate gifting & are able to curate the perfect gift for your clients. 

Catering is also available – Weddings, birthday parties, office parties, etc. – let us do the work for you!
