Hi Amber, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today. 
So, I started by baking at home and only making desserts for friends & family. I’ve always loved cooking & trying new things. At first, I was interested in being a chef to cook all types of foods. Over time I took a liking to baking. I started off by trying different types of cheesecakes. My very first cheesecake I ever baked was birthday cake flavored. It was amazing! I slowly ventured off by participating in potlucks at my job, and my cheesecakes became a hit. During the pandemic is when I really took off and felt comfortable with letting others try my desserts. Boom Angelic Sweetery LLC was created. 

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Honestly, at first, it was easy. I think with the pandemic; things were really easy for a lot of people. With all the money coming in, prices for items didn’t matter. I feel like starting off I was very consistent because I was excited that everyone was taking a chance on me & it meant a lot to me. Over time some days are easy & some are not. The struggles I feel like I’ve faced along the way is truly staying consistent no matter if business is slow or not. Also just trying to find a healthy balance between my business life & personal life.

Angelic Sweetery LLC took off in 2020. The name Angelic Sweetery came to me randomly while I was working my job at the hospital & I just knew it was the business name for me. I specialize in all types of desserts: cakes, cookies, cheesecakes, pies, cobblers, chocolate/candy-covered treats, etc. I’m well known for my cheesecakes & custom cakes 😊. What sets me apart from others is that I take pride in customer service. My goal is to always communicate with the customer properly & leave them satisfied to the point that they’re excited to return. I’m most proud brand-wise of the fact that I’ve pushed myself out of my comfort zone. I honestly never imagined myself doing custom desserts because I didn’t think I had the skills to do so. The more I practice, the more I amaze myself with the outcome. I want readers to know that I do it all. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if there’s something you’re interested in getting made. Whether it’s for an event or you just have a sweet tooth, I’m your girl! 

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I have so many people to give credit to. Of course, my mom, dad & my sisters they’re always proud of me no matter what. My husband, Chris, no matter what event I do, he’s always by my side, whether it’s advertising, upselling, setting up, etc. He’s always there. He’s also my taste tester most of the time (he’s a foodie lol), which he loves to do. My son is my cheerleader, he’s very particular about food as well, even at his young age. We all know kids are very honest, lol, so I know I’ve done good if it gets his approval. My best friends, friends, social media family, cake family, etc., everyone is so supportive. Whether it’s a referral, share, words of encouragement, you name it. It really means a lot to me more than they know.
