Today we’d like to introduce you to Adio Bracy.  

Hi Adio, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My love for family and community comes from my parents. They were Pastors, Community Activist, Teachers, and Counselors. Growing up in a home like this sparked my passion for people and giving back to the community. 

My professional background ranges from being a Camp Counselor, Youth Program Supervisor, Child Care Specialist, Juvenile Detention Specialist, and even an Armed Security Guard. Within those positions held, I noticed a disconnect in my community in regard to firearms knowledge and ownership. This disconnect was due to the stigma in the black community that only bad people have guns and kids should never see a gun. This really brought to light how important educating people in my community was. In the inner city and in general, gun knowledge as it pertains to laws, safe gun storage, and handling is not where it should be, and my goal is to change that by taking time with each person to ensure they are confident in their handling skills and well informed in the laws. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
So far, it has been a fair journey; the biggest obstacle has been trying to change people’s perceptions and myths of gun ownership. Additionally Introducing children to guns and gun safety. 

As you know, we’re big fans of Family Tactical Solution. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Family Tactical Solutions is dedicated to ensuring that anyone deemed eligible to own and operate a firearm is properly trained and confident with the use of their firearm. Family Tactical Solutions focuses on small CPL (referred to by most as CCW) /training classes for a more tailored student-focused experience. In addition to the CPL courses, we also offer a pistol selection course for first-time firearm buyers, a firearms safety training course for youth, basic pistol training; and Stop The Bleed training. 

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is family, it molds and shapes us all. It’s the family who drives me to be the best version of myself. Everything I do is because of my wife and children, on a daily basis, I try my best to make them proud of me.
