Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Dodge.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Born and raised in St. Joseph, MI., I’ve lived in California, Indiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Alabama, and after being away for 30+ years, I realized how special this area is with its beaches, wineries, orchards, and lifestyle of living and raising a family and wanted to make a move home. I have two older boys, graduated from Indiana University, now living in Chicago, enjoying careers in IT, and also have two younger children, ages 15 and 12. Having moved here to New Buffalo 4 years ago, I love all that our town and this area is providing them as they grow to young adults while also being close to their older brothers with a short train ride from Chicago.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Aside from the pandemic, there have been no real hurdles or challenges. Absolutely love our area.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Aside from being a mother of four first, my passions are food, travel, and entertaining. I’m most proud of my children and their accomplishments. I’ve been told that I’m a fabulous cook!
Any big plans?
Always more travel; I’m also excited about my new role with Jonathan at The Neighborhood Hotels.
