This open-top classic London double-decker provides you an unforgettable dining experience. Dedicated to excellence and hospitality-driven. Proud to deliver Worldwide flavors assembled for the ultimate Taco experience. 1923 “Where culture is currency, taste is the escape, and Family is home.”

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road hasn’t been smooth, literally lol. We’ve taken an unconventional approach to everything from our menu to the physical restaurant itself. It’s part of what makes us niche and unique. The Double decker bus and tacos are just the shell, the magic happens inside. This past winter was tough to say the least. We had just opened on October 1st, so we were racing the clock and the seasons to develop a following and earn some income before the winter weather really hit. Thankfully to great customers, all 5-star reviews, a wonderful landlord, family, and lots of prayers. We survived. We knew if we could make it through that 1st winter, we could make it through anything!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
What brought us together as a couple, and eventually business partners, is our love for people and passion for service. It’s not something you can train, fake, or produce. It’s who you are or aren’t. We pride ourselves on decades of experience in the industry, which we’ve cultivated into an unforgettable experience here at 1923. Quality food with wide variety of flavors from around the world.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
First and foremost, God. We believe in prayer and know that our shared faith in both of our families is an imperative part of our success. Family. Both of our parents have been by our sides mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Miriam’s sister Rachel has been a HUGE support in so many ways. Her other sister Hannah made our logo. My brother Michael helps us with marketing. It truly is a family affair. My mom has held us down from day one. Jessica and Peter Agboh, Steve and Sarah Musko, Jay Mullick, Olsi Gjini. Of course, Jeff Starman for believing in our vision.
