Rising Stars: Meet Hasna Abohomos

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hasna Abohomos.

Hi Hasna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I love Arts and everything related to Art & Craft.

Design for me is beyond furniture and materials. Design is more as creating an Art Masterpiece to serve the purpose that it was created for!

Initially, I started my career in marketing, but my heart was always in the Design Industry, so I went for studying Fine Arts to obtain my second bachelor degree in my career.

After 10 years working in construction, I decided to take my career to the next level by teaching children & teens about Art & design.

My next big dream is establishing an Art School starts from kindergarten all the way till the high school to prepare children and young generations to be the best designers in the future.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My long road was full of challenges & adventures. On every step of my way, I faced different obstacles. Between having the faith of what I’m doing & the patience to complete it, I was be able to overcome my struggles. As long as we have big dreams, as much, we have challenges.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an interior Designer & Artist. I used to work in constructions, I loved it when I create projects from scratches, however, that wasn’t what I’m really looking for. I quit my job & opened my Art Studio to teach Art & Design in new methods, which what I really enjoy.

I meet lot of children every day & I feel so proud when I teach them Art & Design and open up new creations channels for them to help them in their future.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I appreciate all the support I get from parents, neighbors, and local schools.
