Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Mikolajczyk.
Hi Kyle, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I’m a 28yr old touring/studio multi-musician. I perform in 7 active bands and also perform as a solo act.
I’ve been following my dreams for 13yrs+ and have toured the nation in several different bands and played some very big crowds. My record is 80k in Oklahoma (2014).
As of last year, 2022, I release my first solo single, “Echoes In Eternity,” followed by a Christmas song, “All Around The World.”
Both accompanied with Music Videos.
When my hands aren’t completely full with music, I coordinate events/festivals at Michigan Venues and coach/manage other bands with my company MetalAfro Management & Promotions.
I also do singing telegrams via ‘Rockstar Singing Telegrams.’
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There are many struggles of being a musician. The main one is, deciphering Friends & Foes.
Finding out who really shares your goals, visions, and work ethic can sometimes be a painstaking process, more so than other businesses because everyone ideally “Wants to be a rockstar,” but when it comes time to make sacrifices or roll up the sleeves, their true colors shine through.
It not just limited to “Band Mates” but everyone involved in Music/Music Production/Press, Etc…
All in all…
I believe my road is as smooth as it’s supposed to be.
