Hi Rim, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Center Stage Styles & Design came to life years after the thought of its conception with endless conversations with myself about how I could pursue my own craft. After working in the corporate realm shortly after my Graduate Studies, I found myself filled with eagerness to become a creator. If you do not create, you consume and I knew that I needed to finally trust in the process and begin the foundation of the business. After parting ways with my corporate sales company, I began my journey as a Business Development consultant with a Realty team in Dearborn, Michigan. This new consulting role came with the flexibility of my journey as a new mother. The position also allowed me the time and availability to not only take on my new role in life but finally bring my idea of Home Staging to life. My job was to find ways to make our realtors impactful and create a separation on why the team could best serve clientele. I finally struck up the conversation of Home Staging to set the team aside in their listings and client services. I realized how effortless my consulting strategies had become, and with the feedback and motivation from those around me, I decided it was time! After the first try, I knew that I finally have enabled myself to grow where my passion lies and that brought me to the exciting role of founding Center Stage Styles & Design. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey has never been a smooth one. I continuously face trials and tribulations that I have come across. My initial obstacle came with finding the confidence to believe in my craft and as an entrepreneur creating my own business. When working in the corporate realm, the stability provides a comfort that will indefinitely allow you to question how your independent success will play out. Taking on the responsibility of creating your own company requires the consistent value you can make to your clients, the guarantee of your company mission and service, and showcasing your new brand. Staging is an elective part of a seller’s journey in the sale of their property. Even when presenting the research of how beneficial it is, even with returning your client’s requested renditions within 24 hours, you still have to advocate your value to potential clients to trust you with the vision of their home. I always love a good challenge, and I have always found myself to work best under pressure so one challenge with this area of expertise comes believing in yourself! I have had to learn how to step out of my comfort zone and trust that in my skill I am providing the best service to those who hire me as I am using their property as the muse that others will initially see. Instead of allowing this to intimidate me as it used to, it makes me excited that clients trust my craft and I love seeing the reactions to what was once an empty space.

Center Stage Styles & Design is an Interior Design firm that focuses on the innovative practice of Virtual Staging aside from the many services that we provide in order to assist our clients in the redesign their unique space and conceptualize a property’s best characteristics. Not only do we provide our most popular Virtual Staging service to selling clients and Realtors, but we also assist in the remodeling process of Commercial and Residential properties. Our team focuses on transforming spaces to center attention to a property so that it stands out among the rest for better feedback, showing rates, and performance among competitor properties listed. Our focus is to create an impressionable first look for our clients and catch the attention of busy scrollers looking for homes and properties in this market. We include stylish trends, stunning gallery furniture, and accented decor that will best suite the use of a space. Our goal is to foster attention to your listing and to make it stand out Center Stage! 

What makes you happy?
My happiness is my family. Whether I am cozied up at home here in Dearborn, Michigan with my daughter and husband or I am taking in the watercolored skies of my hometown, St. Petersburg FL, home makes me happiest. As an immigrant to America at a young age, my parents always put their best efforts in providing my brother and I a stable and safe life at home. Our family fled to America during the Civil War in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and made St. Petersburg our home. I always admired the unwavering strength my parents had in not only relocating from a war-ridden place but finding comfort in a country they never imagined to be in. My reason why in life is to ensure that I can provide my family with the security and peace that my parents found so challenging to create as we were raised. The most important objective to me at the end of any day is to see that my daughter is happy, my husband is thriving, and that we are nurtured in a place of comfort. This is what brings me pure joy and happiness, and another reason why I absolutely love to work in the industry of Real Estate and Home Design as I love the idea of helping others envision a day with their family in what could be their comforting space.
