Hidden Gems: Meet Andrea Fix of The Healing Sanctuary

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Fix. Them and their team share their story with us below:

The Healing Sanctuary Owner, Andrea Fix began her journey over 15 years ago. Her love of herbology and crystals inspired her to create The Healing Sanctuary, a New Age Boutique. She started her Etsy shop, newagegirl88, in 2015, selling crystals and organic herbal tea blends she made herself. She now has the title of “Star Seller” on Etsy. From 2015-2021, Andrea grew her business by selling wholesale and opening a boutique in Washington, MI. All of her gifts are intended for healing and are infused with Reiki Love. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like everything worthwhile, this endeavor took a lot of love, self-discipline, and work. I began by selling at fairs and slowly building a business. I think some of the most challenging things have been finding a space – six other shops lead to where we are now in Washington, Twsp. Finding employees that resonated with the values of The Healing Sanctuary was also challenging. It was important that employees possessed a heart-centered spirit with knowledge of New Age Practices.

The Healing Sanctuary is a New Age Boutique dedicated to healing and self-connection. All our gifts are intended to aid you on your wellness journey. We sell crystals, organic herbal tea blends, jewelry, books, sound healing tools, vegan bath and body products, and more. We are known for our tea and a large variety of crystals. Our unique approach to New Age Healing sets us apart – we believe our gifts should be paired with a practice that connects you with your Highest Self. We are incredibly proud of our tea blends; we ship over 2000 bags annually across all 50 states. We are building our local community as well! We offer a variety of classes, events, and services, including sound healing, meditation, yoga, tarot/intuitive readings, reiki, chi-gong, and beginner courses on crystals, Ayurveda, charkas, mindfulness, and more. 

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success through personal fulfillment. Being happy and healthy in mind, body, and soul is success in my eyes.
